Terms of sale
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order.
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&C) govern the contractual relationship between Foreign (“we,” “our”) and any individual or legal entity placing an order on our online store (“you” or “customer”). By placing an order, you accept these T&C.
2. Access to Services and Customer Account
You certify that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to make purchases.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to keep your account credentials confidential.
We reserve the right to suspend or close an account in case of suspected abuse or fraud.
3. Products
Variations may exist between the photographs displayed and the delivered products (color, size, etc.).
We may modify, remove, or limit the quantity of certain products at any time.
We reserve the right to cancel an order, after notifying the customer and providing a full refund, in cases of stock shortage, manifest error, insolvency, abusive behavior, non-compliance with legal provisions, or suspected fraud.
4. Orders
Any order constitutes an offer to purchase, subject to our express acceptance and full payment.
You must verify the accuracy of your order before final validation.
Products are sold for personal, non-commercial use.
Upon order confirmation and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are in euros, including all taxes (VAT), excluding shipping fees, customs duties, and other potential charges.
Shipping costs are indicated separately and added to the total order amount at checkout.
Customers are informed of the exact shipping cost before final confirmation.
You guarantee the validity of the payment method used.
For credit card payments, the amount is charged immediately.
6. Delivery and Transfer of Risk
Delivery times indicated on the site are for informational purposes only.
Unless otherwise stated, delivery will occur within a maximum of 30 days from order confirmation, in accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code.
If this deadline is exceeded, the Buyer may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Delivery is considered completed upon receipt of the parcel by the customer or a designated third party.
Home delivery includes handover at the indicated address or, if not possible, deposit with a neighbor, in a mailbox, or at a nearby pick-up point or post office.
Upon receipt, you must check the parcel’s condition and report any damage to Foreign within 48 hours; otherwise, delivery is deemed compliant.
7. Return and Refund Policy
7.1 Return period
Customers have 30 calendar days from the actual delivery date to request a return.
7.2 Eligibility conditions
Products must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unused, clean, complete, with all tags, accessories, and intact original packaging.
7.3 Return procedure and address
All requests must be sent in writing to contact@thisisforeign.com with supporting evidence.
After our written approval, the product can be returned to:

Detailed return instructions will be provided in the return confirmation.
7.4 Return costs
If the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect product), we cover return costs, including customs duties and taxes.
In all other cases, the customer bears the return costs.
7.5 Non-returnable items
Excluded items: perishable goods, personalized items, opened hygiene products, hazardous products, and gift cards.
7.6.1 EU Right of Withdrawal
For orders delivered within the EU, you have a 14-calendar-day legal right to withdraw from the purchase without reason. The above conditions (condition, packaging, procedure) apply. This legal withdrawal right is separate from our 30-day commercial return policy. Exclusions apply under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
Only if you wish to withdraw, you must notify us of your decision before the expiration of the 14-day period:

- using the standard form below or any other clear statement expressing your intention to withdraw.
In case of withdrawal, you must return the products to us in their original and complete condition (packaging, accessories, manual) no later than 14 days from the communication of your decision. Return costs are your responsibility, unless we made an error.
We will reimburse you the price paid as well as the delivery costs within a maximum of 14 days from the notification of your withdrawal. We may delay this refund until we have received the products or proof of shipment, whichever occurs first.
The exclusions provided for in Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code apply (customized products, perishable goods, sealed hygiene items once opened, etc.).

7.7 Refund
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days after receiving and inspecting the returned item. No refund will be issued before this inspection.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the relevant order, excluding indirect, immaterial damages or loss of profit.
9. Indemnification
The customer indemnifies Foreign against any claims resulting from their use of the Services or breach of these T&C. This does not affect mandatory legal consumer rights.
10. Force Majeure
We cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure or events beyond our reasonable control.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Foreign’s registered office.
EU consumers also benefit from the mandatory protections of their country of residence.
12. Amendments to the T&C
We reserve the right to modify these T&C at any time without notice. The applicable terms are those in effect at the time of the order.
